Summary

Desalination plant with a production capacity of 1,200 m3/d of desalinated water located in South West Morocco. Produced water is used for red fruits irrigation in a recognized crop farm.

Raw water, prior to desalination, is stored in an accumulation pond which is covered in order to avoid microbiological growth.

Steel filtration frame including the following equipment:
1- Two sand filters in parallel, made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass (GRP). Automatic backwash by mean of pneumatic valves.
2- Safety cartridge filter made of PVC.
Antiscalant dosing system.
RO Process
Steel reverse osmosis skid that includes the following equipment:
1- Reverse osmosis train of 1,200 m3/day osmosis water production.
2- Multistage high pressure pump with wet stainless steel parts, controlled by a variable frequency drive.
3- Pressure vessels and reverse osmosis membranes.
Automation and control
Operation by programmable logic controller (PLC).
Color HMI system interface (touchscreen).
3G remote maintenance support.
Auxiliary systems
Automatic flushing and cleaning in place (CIP) system.
