Desalination plant 200 m3/d

Spain

Year
2016
Summary

The water produced by this reverse osmosis desalination plant in one stage, with a compact design, is used to irrigate crops on a farm in the southeast of Spain. The installation is fed directly from a well, with a low pressure pump in series controlled with a variable frequency drive to ensure the required flow in the installation with a tight energy consumption.

The operation of this installation is fully automatic, including electrically operated valves for backwashing and rinsing of the sand filter. It also includes a control with a display that indicates the status of the plant, alarms, etc. This installation also allows to program its operation according to the desired schedule.
