Summary

Reverse osmosis plant with 600 m3/d of production capacity, for a nationally recognized dairy industry, where the quality of water is a key element for the various processes integrating its production chain.

The station is designed using a modular two-stage reverse osmosis model.

Pre-Treatment
- Sand filter made of glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP). Automatic backwash by mean of pneumatic valves.
- Security filtration composed by a cartridge holder made of PVC.
- Anti-scalant injection system.
- Sodium hypochlorite / sodium bisulfite injection system.
RO Process
- A 600 m3/d reverse osmosis line of desalinated water production, designed under a modular model, mounted on a steel chassis.
- Multi-stage high-pressure pump with stainless steel wetted parts, controlled by means of a frequency converter.
- Pressure tubes and reverse osmosis membranes.

Automation and control
- Control by mean of a programmable automate (PLC) located inside an electric board.
- Interaction with the operator by mean of a colour touchscreen.
- Remote communication with PLC through a 3G modem (Telemanagement), this makes possible the continuous and remote monitoring of the desalination plant parameters.
Auxiliary systems
- Automatic flushing and chemical cleaning system of reverse osmosis membranes.
- Flushing/chemical cleaning centrifugal pump with stainless steel wetted parts.
